Tap the House is published by OfferCrew LLC, 1806 Summit Ave, Suite 300, Richmond, VA 23230. This site is editorial. It is not a lender and it does not take loan applications.

If you request a value estimate, we send the address you typed to a property-data provider to return an automated value. If you upload a mortgage statement, we process the file to read the unpaid principal balance. The file is used for that read. Do not upload a statement you are not willing to have processed.

We store page visits and on-site events, the address and valuation result, and fields read from an uploaded statement, including the model JSON. Those records sit with our database provider. We may also share the address and the statement with the property-data API and the model provider used to read the document. We do not sell the statement.

Outbound links to firms in Key Players include a tapthe.house UTM tag so we can see which page sent the visit. Their sites have their own privacy terms.
